Job Profile: Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for initiating and leading talent acquisition efforts to include full life cycle recruiting, developing and executing a broad-based sourcing strategy, and ultimately delivering a viable talent pipeline for the business. Responsibilities will also include tracking and reporting on key metrics, driving process improvements, leading recruiting and HR effectiveness initiatives, and building a strong relationship with functional business leaders and hiring managers.

Responsibilities:

A.) Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
B.) Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
C.) Prepare job descriptions for each new position.
D.) Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
E.) Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
F.) Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
G.) Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
H.) Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
I.) Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
J.) Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
K.) Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Requirements:

A.) Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
B.) Strong organizational and persuasive skills
C.) Ability to self-motivate and work well independently
D.) Ability to maintain discretion handling sensitive/confidential information
E.) Proficiency in database management and record-keeping
F.) Experience with ATS/HCMS/HRIS
G.) Basic knowledge of employment laws
H.) Bachelor’s degree
I.) Three (3) years of recruiting experience required

Compensation and Estimated CTC: Rs. 5 - 8 LPA depending on the performance in the interview and previous experience in Talent Acquisition domain.
