Job Profile: Software Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer responsibility include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages like Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc. Ultimately, the role of the Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the candidate can work from home as an intern. When the situation improves, we would be glad to extend a full-time offer at our Powai Office in Mumbai.
Roles and Responsibilities
You would be working on our core platform, improving the features of the product, developing new functionalities, testing and fixing bugs/issues, customizing it for clients, cloud and on-premise deployment, security testing, and configuration, etc. You will also get a chance to build new products from scratch.
Tools and technologies that you’d be working on include the following:
A.) Django, Python.
B.) Bootstrap, MaterializeCSS, HTML, JavaScript.
C.) Nginx, Gunicorn, Oracle, MySQL/Postgres, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloudwatch), API integrations (JSON, XML, SOAP), RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
D.) Shell Commands, SSH, SSL Certificate, HTTP/HTTPS, Web crawling, Google-cloud services, unit testing, etc.
Requirements:
A.) Excellent knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, etc.
B.) Knowledge developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (preferably, Django)
C.) Knowledge in designing interactive applications
D.) Ability to develop software in using Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS & other programming languages
E.) Ability to document requirements and specifications
F.) Experience: 0-1 Years
Kindly note: The candidate must make necessary adjustments for a laptop/desktop to work on due to the current work from home situation.
Qualification
Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree from a recognized university or board.

Powai, Mumbai (Currently remote work due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, until Company decides to operate from Mumbai Office after the pandemic subsides).
